FAQs

These are the answers to questions we get frequently asked:

What information do we need to have handy when we arrive?

It is always a good idea to print out your welcome letter.  Or you might take a picture with your phone of the important facts about your property such as:

  • property name

  • property address

  • door code

  • property manager’s contact number

How will I get the WiFi password?

All of the properties have a welcome booklet in the house with this information.  Take the time to look through the book.  You will find many useful tips and recommendations inside! Departure directions will also be found in the book which can help you avoid additional fees.

What do I do with my parking pass when I leave?

Always leave your parking pass inside your unit when you leave.  There is a fee imposed by the HOA for replacement which will be charged back to you if you do not leave the passes.

What do we need to bring?

Always check with your property manager for the specifics of your particular rental but here is a list of things to think about:

  • Special Cooking items

  • Charcoal (propane is not allowed at any of our rental units)

  • Laundry and Dish Soap

  • Baby Equipment, Food, and Condiments;

  • Personal Toiletries;

  • Paper Products (Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, etc.);

  • Beach and Fishing Equipment

  • Suntan Lotions

Note that all kitchens are adequately stocked for everyday meal preparation. You can expect to find the following items for at least the maximum occupancy: Coffee Maker and a Toaster, Dishes, Glasses, Coffee Mugs, Flatware, Pots and Pans, and Cooking Utensils. Some cottages provide extra kitchen equipment, but others do not. Extra kitchen items are provided according to the individual homeowner's preference, not according to the size, location, or price of the cottage. If you are planning special meal preparations you should bring with you such items as: A Food Processor, Extra Large or Specialty Pots or Pans, Chef's Knives, Specialty Cooking Utensils.

You will also want to bring (or buy locally) beach toys, chairs, and shades. To stay safe in the sun, don't forget the sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, sand shoes (for people and dogs). Do you have your beach novel? And remember to bring a camera or a waterproof (and sand-proof) pouch for your phone!

Restaurants and other buildings are often chilly inside. Bring a lightweight coverup, sweatshirt, or jacket to keep warm in the air conditioning.

Can I reserve the house again for next year?

Yes, the best way to do this is to reach out to your property manager.  If the bookings aren’t open yet for next year, your property manager will make sure that you will have access to bookings first!
