Boating in the Area

The boating is fantastic in the area, but keep in mind that just because you see water everywhere does not mean you can drive your boat everywhere. Most of the water in the inland waters is knee-deep. Follow the channel markers like your safety depends on it.

If you run into trouble, there is a large SeaTow and TowBoatUS presence here. Both are on channel 16, or you can call them. SeaTow is (252) 726-2246 and TowBoatUS is (252) 728-5088.
